Series Overview

The Biothm DCTune series is a pocket-sized, multi-mode tDCS system designed for wellness, brain fitness exploration, and personal use by neuroscience enthusiasts, biohackers, and hobbyists exploring transcranial electrical stimulation.

The series integrates five precision microcurrent waveforms into a single compact device:

tDCS – Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation

tACS – Transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation

tPCS – Transcranial Pulsed Current Stimulation

tRNS – Transcranial Random Noise Stimulation (Pro X only)

tVNS – Non-invasive ear-based vagal stimulation (Pro & Pro X)

DCTune comes in three models — ES, Pro, and Pro X — covering entry-level exploration through flagship configurations. All models support up to 4.5mA output, USB-C charging, 10-hour continuous operation, a built-in electrode–skin contact detection system, and seamless connectivity to the TuneFlo companion App.

Engineered for home wellness and personal research, DCTune delivers maximum microcurrent flexibility in an ultra-portable form factor.

App Compatibility Notice

The TuneFlo companion app is currently available on iOS only (iPhone and iPad).
Android support is on our roadmap and expected in the coming months. The DCTune device is fully functional as a standalone unit without the app — all stimulation modes and parameters are accessible directly through the device's physical controls.
